How to book your ticket online for free to visit Notre-Dame de Paris

Even if the visit is free, it is strongly recommended to reserve a slot on the Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral website before going there in order to avoid endless queues. Ticketing is available on the Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral website and mobile application. You can make your reservation two days in advance, or even the day before or the same day.

From Tuesday December 3, 2024, online ticketing is available. You should know that only 2,500 people can enter the cathedral at the same time. They will be guided by 60 employees and 500 volunteers. From December 8, the date the cathedral reopens to the public, 40,000 pilgrims and 8,000 students are expected at Notre-Dame de Paris and already have their tickets. As for cultural groups, they will be able to book their visit from March, via a platform provided for this purpose.
