“They need to rebuild everything, in my opinion” – When Al-Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo advised Manchester United

Al-Nassr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo advised his former club, Manchester United, to start over and rebuild everything if they hope to win the Premier League title again. Ronaldo is one of the most beloved figures in the club’s history, playing 346 times across two stints.

Ronaldo recently played for the English giants until the winter of 2022 before he left to join his current club in contentious circumstances. His contract was mutually terminated after an explosive interview with broadcaster Piers Morgan, where he publically criticized the club.

Speaking about the Red Devils in a recent interview with his former teammate, Rio Ferdinand, on his podcast, Rio Ferdinand presents FIVE via Al Jazeera, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner said:

“They need to rebuild everything, in my opinion … the club needs time to rebuild because it’s still one of the best clubs in the world, but they need to change. They understand that this is the only way.”

Cristiano Ronaldo is currently enjoying life at Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro-League. Since his arrival in January 2023, he has scored an impressive 73 goals and provided 18 assists in 82 games for the side.
