2,000 to 3,000 taxis expected throughout the region
Professionals threaten to “paralyze” Lyon for several days with heavy-handed actions with 2,000 to 3,000 taxis expected from several departments in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. They plan to launch actions this Monday at 5 a.m. to denounce the new CNAM (National Health Insurance Fund) agreement concerning medical transport, which they consider “unsustainable”.
“No lasting blockage will be tolerated,” warned the Rhône prefecture, which threatens to use the police. “No action to filter access to hospitals will be tolerated,” she also warns.
