Jacob Elordi addressed the rumor that he will be starring in Luca Gaudagnino‘s new American Psycho movie.

In October, it was revealed that the famed director – responsible for the likes of Call Me By Your Name, Challengers and Queer – was working on a new movie in the American Psycho franchise. It is not expected to be a remake of the 2000 movie, which starred Christian Bale.

Rumors spread online that the Euphoria actor had been tapped to star in Luca‘s project. He addressed those whispers while attending the 21st Marrakech International Film Festival, where he is a member of Luca‘s jury.

Will Jacob star in American Psycho? During a press conference with Luca and Andrew Garfieldhe played coy.

“That’s news to me,” he said, via Variety. The outlet noted that he replied “with a smile.”

Jacob did reveal one of his professional goals: “I would work with a filmmaker from every country in the world.”

He explained, “Cinema is this grand universal language, and I’ve barely even learned how to say hello. My dream is to work with all kinds of filmmakers and human beings and kinds of films.”

The actor debuted a very new look at the festival. He showed off his new beard on the red carpet again on Saturday (November 30) while attending a Ceremony Tribute to Sean Penn. We’ve got those photos in the gallery.
