Fun on France 3: The plot of the film with Niels Arestrup
In 1995, 17-year-old Zahia Ziouani dreamed of becoming a conductor while her twin sister Fettouma aspired to a career as a professional cellist. Passionate about classical music, they want to break down barriers to make this discipline accessible to everyone, even in neglected areas like their native Seine-Saint-Denis. With unfailing determination and the desire to make their voices heard, the two sisters embarked on a daring bet: founding their own orchestra, Divertimento. This vibrant film, mixing dreams and reality, highlights perseverance in the face of social and cultural challenges, and recalls the importance of believing in one's dreams, a theme dear to the work of Niels Arestrup.
