The final pay-per-view fight card on the UFC schedule, UFC 310, takes place this week. The event takes place on December 7 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main event of the card is a flyweight fight between UFC champion Alexandre Pantoja and Kai Asakura, who is debuting with the promotion after a championship run with Rizin. In the co-main event, two undefeated welterweights meet in what is likely a title eliminator between Shavkat Rakhmonov and Ian Machado Garry. Below we look at the early fight week betting odds for the entire UFC 310 fight card.

UFC 310 Main Event: Alexandre Pantoja vs. Kai Asakura

Alexandre Pantoja (28-5) is on a six-fight winning streak heading into UFC 310. The 34-year-old Brazilian won the UFC flyweight title in July 2023 on the heels of two “Performance of the Night” submission wins. Pantoja secured the 125-pound title with a split decision win over Brandon Moreno. Since that victory, Pantoja has defended his title twice, beating Brandon Royval in December and Steve Erceg in May. Both fights ended in decision victories.

Kai Asakura (21-4) signed with the UFC in June. The 31-year-old is a two-time Rizin bantamweight champion. His first title run began with a knockout victory over Hiromasa Ougikubo. That reign ended in his first defense with a KO loss to Kyoji Horiguchi. Following that loss, Asakura went 4-1 before regaining the vacant 135-pound belt in December 2023 with a TKO over Juan Archuleta. Asakura has not fought since that victory.

UFC 310 Co-Main Event: Shavkat Rakhmonov vs. Ian Machado Garry

The UFC initially booked Shavkat Rakhmonov against UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad for this card. That fight fell through when Muhammad was knocked off the card with a bone infection in his two. In place of that fight, Rakhmonov will face Ian Machado Garry. Rakhmonov enters UFC 310 is the No. 3 fighter in the official UFC welterweight rankings, while Garry checks in at No. 7.

Rakhmonov (18-0) is 6-0 as a UFC fighter. The 30-year-old has never gone the distance in his career. He has five submissions under the UFC banner and one knockout. In his most recent outing, Rakhmonov submitted two-time UFC title challenger Stephen Thompson in December 2023.

Garry (15-0) has an 8-0 record under the UFC banner. The 27-year-old has five decisions and three knockouts. In his most recent outing, Garry defeated Michael “Venom” Page at UFC 303.

UFC 310: Ciryl Gane vs. Alexander Volkov

Also on the UFC 310 PPV card is an important heavyweight scrap. In that matchup, former UFC heavyweight title challenger Ciryl Gane faces Alexander Volkov.

Gane (12-2) is the No. 2 fighter in the official UFC heavyweight rankings. The 34-year-old French competitor has only lost in UFC title fights, losing to Francis Ngannou by decision in 2022 for the undisputed title, and falling to Jon Jones via submission in 2023 for the vacant belt. Gane did capture the interim heavyweight belt in 2021 with a knockout of Derrick Lewis. In his most recent trip to the Octagon, Gane defeated Serghei Spivac by TKO. That bout took place in September 2023.

Volkov (38-10) is ranked at No. 3 in the UFC’s heavyweight divison. The 36-year-old has been with the organization since 2016, but has never fought for UFC gold. Volkov is currently riding a four-fight winning streak with his most recent outing being a June 2024 decision win over interim title challenger Sergei Pavlovich.
