Adrian Barisic is suspended against Lausanne-Sport due to the fourth yellow card he picked up against Servette last weekend. This puts FCB coach Fabio Celestini in a situation that he has not had before this season. Barisic was in the starting line-up every time in the league this season and played the entire 90 minutes in twelve of the 15 games.
Celestini said on Friday before the game: “There is a chance for someone else. Competition is great.” Celestini didn’t want to reveal who this other person would be. While Finn van Breemen hasn’t completed enough training to be used, both Jonas Adjetey and Arnau Comas are an option. However, the Spaniard has only made three appearances in the league this season, which is why it can be assumed that the Ghanaian will play alongside Nicolas Vouilloz.
