Fifty gendarmes were mobilized this Saturday, November 30 to try to find Morgane, a 13-year-old girl who has been missing since Monday after leaving her home in Pabu, near Guingamp.
The search continues to find Morgane. Five days after leaving the family home without leaving a trace, the 13-year-old girl is still missing this Saturday, November 30, despite new searches.
The day after a major raid which mobilized 800 people in Pabu (Côtes-d'Armur), the town where she lived next to Guingamp, 50 gendarmes were mobilized this Saturday to locate the young girl, according to information from BFMTV.
20 gendarmes carried out door-to-door operations towards Guingamp and its surroundings and 10 were mobilized on road checks in the region. 20 other soldiers were assigned to investigative work.
A dispute over the teenager's phone
The girl left her home on foot Monday morning saying she was going to college. The establishment informed her parents early in the morning when they noticed that Morgane was not present in class.
Shortly before her disappearance, a dispute took place on Saturday between the young girl and her parents over the use of her cell phone and social networks. Morgane's father then took her phone, broke it and confiscated the SIM card.
The next day, without her parents knowing, the teenager warned friends that they would not come to class on Monday. An investigation has since been opened into a worrying disappearance and significant police resources have been deployed to try to find Morgane.
