Antoine Semenyo will miss Bournemouth’s Premier League clash against Wolves this afternoon through suspension.

The Ghana international has been in superb form for the Cherries this season with four goals and one assist to his name in 13 appearances.

He has been almost ever-present in Andoni Iraola’s starting XI this season but will have no role to play at Molineux today after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season against Brighton last weekend, earning an automatic one-match suspension.

With Luis Sinisterra also unavailable through injury, it could present David Brooks with the chance to start his first match of the season having scored off the bench last week.

‘He will definitely be involved in the game, especially with Sini and Antoine out in the outside positions,’ Iraola said.

‘I hope he does well, the same as Tav [Marcus Tavernier]as Dango [Ouattara]as Justin [Kluivert]as the players that can play there.

‘Because we always say it’s key for us to get everyone involved to have more players in their best form available and now, we will need them because we are quite short of numbers.’

Bournemouth sit in 11th place ahead of kick-off having won five of 12 this season.

They take on a Wolves side showing signs of resurgence having won back-to-back games for the first time since February.

A 2-0 win over Southampton was followed by last weekend’s thumping victory away to Fulham with Matheus Cunha scoring twice and assisting another in a marvellous display from the Brazilian.

That result moved Gary O’Neill’s side out of the relegation zone, currently sat in 17th place.
