This Friday, November 29, France Télévisions kicked off the 38th edition of the Telethon. France 2 viewers were able to discover the special program All on stage for the Telethonhosted by Cyril Féraud and Sophie Davant. Between the presence of Mika (who is this year's godfather), the moving reports and the artistic shows, the show offered a range of emotions to its audience, with the added bonus of a particularly funny moment featuring Sophie Before.
Live on set, the atmosphere was festive thanks to a tavern run by dancers from the Carnet de bal association. A lively dance floor to the sound of the famous song Parisian life d'Offenbach was installed to set the scene. Sophie Davant, led into the farandole by her dance partner, let herself be carried away by the energy of the moment. But after a few laps at a frantic pace, the famous host lost her balance, visibly dizzy. “My head is spinning…”, she said, trying to pull herself together at the same time. While she leaned on the arms of her comrades to regain her balance, Sophie Davant caused general laughter. Teasing, Cyril Féraud did not fail to tease his colleague. “I would like to point out that Sophie Davant is fasting, so please know that for her family, which I reassure!”, he blurted. A joke which again triggered laughter from the audience and guests.

Telethon: why is the event broadcast in November this year?
Traditionally scheduled for the first weekend in December, the Telethon was exceptionally brought forward this year. In question, the long-awaited reopening of Notre-Dame de Paris, which will mobilize the antennas on December 7 and 8. This change of program allowed France Télévisions to honor these two important events without making them overlap. Fortunately, the spirit of the Telethon has not been altered. The evening, led by the dynamic duo formed by Sophie Davant and Cyril Féraud, was a success.
