The host and her sidekicks started a wild dance during the evening which made their heads spin.
This Friday, November 29, France Télévision launched the 38th edition of the Telethon sponsored by the singer Mika. For the first time, this meeting does not take place in December, as is usually the case, but in November because of the reopening of Notre-Dame de Paris celebrated on December 7 and 8.
The public service offers no less than 30 hours of airtime and this traditional television marathon began Friday November 29 at 6:45 p.m. with “Together building treatments”, presented on France 2 by Nagui and Sophie Davant and highlighting medical progress to treat rare diseases.

The evening continued on France 3 with the prime time called “All on stage for the Telethon” hosted, this time, by Cyril Féraud and Sophie Davant with the presence of Mika and many artists. The show alternated between sets with guests, notably children, their parents and doctors, numerous reports but also festive moments with circus numbers or songs.
In the middle of the live show, a tavern was launched with dancers from the Carnet de bal association, all in period costume, spinning rhythmically to the sound of “La vie parisienne” by Offenbach reminiscent of the French cancan. “I’m going to invite you all to come, we’re going to follow these dancers who invite us to follow the ball,” announced Sophie Davant, getting up to join the artists. “I can tell you that there’s a lot of dancing at the tavern, look what’s happening around me”agreed Cyril Féraud placed in the center of the track before also launching into the farandole with unfeigned joy.

At the end of the song, he even asked for more: “Well done Carnet de bal, next time, we’ll rehearse anyway! Does anyone want to come dance with me? Hold Laura as you are here… Don't you want to give us another little blow?”he asked before the music was restarted and he began to dance with his partner.
“My head is spinning…”
Mika and Sophie Davant also joined the dance, the host spinning at breakneck speed with a partner in a tailcoat. When the music stopped, she let go of his hand and, completely dazed, staggered onto the track almost falling. “My head is spinning…”she managed to say, with a smile on her lips, but visibly upset.
To stand without collapsing, the presenter even had to ask Cyril Féraud and Mika for help, clinging forcefully to their arms. “It makes your head spin”admitted the singer. “I really feel dizzy, he made me spin…”continued the host, trying to catch her breath.
Amused by the state of his partner, Cyril Féraud could not help but tease her. “I would like to point out that Sophie Davant is fasting, know this for her family, which I reassure! »he announced. Exhaling numerous times to regain her composure, the presenter then collected herself and, like a good professional, resumed the course of the show as if nothing had happened.
