Five long days without their daughter. Morgane, the 13-year-old girl who went missing in Côtes-d'Armor has still not been found. A major search which brought together 800 people on Friday – family, friends, strangers under the auspices of the gendarmerie – still did not make it possible to find the young girl. Before the hunt, the gendarmerie had mobilized divers to probe the waterways, dogs and a helicopter. Without success.

Friday evening, Morgane's parents, Aurore and Yoann, spoke in front of the cameras. “We can't take it anymore, we are very tired, it's very hard for the whole family. We would like her to come back to us. If she sees us: come back. […] May she come back to us, really,” said the parents, very moved.
Aurore still remembers the last words exchanged with her daughter. “Kisses, see you tonight.” It was Monday November 25. Morgane was leaving to take the bus to school. But she never got on the bus, according to the driver. The teenager disappeared between his home and the nearby bus stop, around 7:30 a.m., in the town of Pabu, near Guingamp.
His cell phone broken after an argument
Could a dispute that occurred over the weekend between Morgane and her parents be the cause of the disappearance? There is nothing to confirm this. Following an argument over Morgane's use of social networks, “her father broke her cell phone and took her SIM card,” said the Saint-Brieuc public prosecutor on Friday evening. Morgane's mother recounts the scene in an interview with West France : “We were angry, we asked him for explanations. His dad took the phone and told him: It's over, we warned you. And we broke the phone. From there, he didn't “There was no longer access to networks or telephones.”

Still according to the public prosecutor, Morgane sent a message on social networks warning her friends that she would not go to class on Monday morning. “We didn’t know about it,” assures Aurore, the mother. Always in West Franceshe claims that there were “fake accounts created under our daughter’s name” and that “someone was pretending to be her”.
The evening of Morgane's disappearance, a parent/teacher meeting was planned at the school and the teenager had to go there with her parents.
“A schoolgirl with her character”
Which teenager is Morgane? “She’s a schoolgirl with her own character, like all schoolboys,” explains her mother. “Loving, loved by all her classmates, her teachers, sports club.” Morgane wanted to be a ball boy at Roland-Garros. She had to go to selections with her parents this Sunday. “We don’t see her leaving like that and throwing all her plans in the trash,” concludes the mother.
