Death of Émile: two traces of DNA found on clothes and bones

Traces of DNA were found on the bones and clothing ofÉmile found last March and April, according to information from RTL confirmed by Le Figaro. According to our colleagues, experts from the forensic hematology laboratory discovered traces of human DNA which belong neither to Emile nor to his family.

The little boy was found dead in July 2024, in the town of Haut-Vernet, in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.

An open investigation into the theft of data of 550,000 Auchan customers

An investigation has been opened in into the cyberattack which affected the personal data of around 550,000 customers of the northern distributor Auchan, the Paris prosecutor's office said on Friday.

The capital's public prosecutor specified that its counterpart had relinquished this case on Thursday in favor of its national anti-cybercrime section.
