In the 12th week match of Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, our representative Anadolu Efes was defeated away by ASVEL and suffered its sixth defeat in the league.
Our representative Efes head coach Tomislav Mijatovic stood in front of the microphone after the match.
Coach Mijatovic's post-match statements are as follows:
“I can't explain what happened because we were very good in the first half. This should not be Efes' game, we were not a team that played like this. For the first time this season, we gave a team the chance to play against us like this. We need to solve this problem as soon as possible, that's very clear. After finishing the first half ahead by eight points, we lost the match by 15 points. This is unacceptable. Our players need to understand that this is unacceptable when they are wearing this jersey. “We cannot allow something like this to happen again.”
