The New York Rangers have officially announced their roster and lineups for this afternoons game against the Philadelphia Flyers.
This afternoon should be a good battle between the two teams as this will be the first time the two rivals will face against each other this season.
However, Rangers reporter Colin Stephenson of has revealed that there will be no lineup changes and Kreider and Chytil will remain out:
No Kreider or Chytil today. Both remain day-to-day. Igor in goal. No lineup changes. #NYR
Panarin-Trocheck-Lafrenière

Rangers reporter Vince Z. Mercogliano has questioned head coach Peter Laviolette about Chytil’s recovery, and of course he didn’t give much of an update:
Laviolette was evasive about exactly where Chytil is in his recovery. Repeated that he’s day-to-day but skating. When asked if he’s cleared for full contact, he noted they haven’t had a full practice in a while. But would he be if they practiced today? «He’s day-to-day.» #NYR
Updates like this start to raise concern as we have all seen it before, where head coaches refuse to give an update and then the next day the player ends up on LTIR.
However, this is now the official roster and lineup for the New York Rangers as they get ready to face the Philadelphia Flyers today at 1pm.
Hopefully the New York Rangers can pull off a victory and bounce back from being a four game losing streak.
