Because of the strike the Scala in Milan canceled the concert Puccini that he was scheduled tonight with choir and orchestra conducted by Riccardo Chailly and the soloists Anna Netrebko, Jonas Kaufmann and Mariangela Sicilia. Superintendent Dominique Meyer announced it to the public directly from the stage.

So skip the homage to Puccini but the audience in the room received a gift. The stage was cleared brought a piano on stage per the performance of the soloists and the addition of Luciano Ganci. The concert that was scheduled for this evening will come refunded.
