Following the disappearance of Morgane, 13, who has not given any sign of life since Monday, November 25, the public prosecutor of Saint-Brieuc spoke to inform of the progress of the search.
The two hunts organized on Friday November 29, in Pabu in Côtes-d'Armor, to find Morgane unfortunately produced nothing. Although nearly 700 people participated, the teenager was not found, as assured by Nicolas Heitz, public prosecutor of Saint-Brieuc.

The latter spoke at the end of the afternoon, as reported by Ouest-France, in order to inform of the progress of the investigation and research. In his press release, he indicated that “the searches carried out at the family home and in other houses of his relations proved unsuccessful”. The teenager's family and friends were also interviewed.
The trail of the lost girl in Guingamp
Over the past five days, significant research resources have been put in place. Nicolas Heitz shared them. “Nautical means, divers, were engaged to probe the Le Trieux river […] They also surveyed the watercourses near the home, as well as a water point in the commune of Pabu. A helicopter from the Rennes air section was deployed on several occasions. Searches on foot, by bicycle and by vehicle were carried out by the gendarmes.”

At present, the investigations – which were stopped around 6 p.m. due to the night – have yielded nothing. The help of the police dogs was invaluable. “They followed the trail from the home to the Castel Pic district in Guingamp,” specifies the public prosecutor. But the girl's trail is lost there.

Nicolas Heitz also confirmed information published in the press. Morgane “left without money, bank card or bag of belongings”. It was the absence of the 13-year-old girl from school that raised the alarm. But she would have warned her friends, via social networks, that she did not want to go to class on Monday, November 25, the date on which she was seen for the last time.

The investigators, who listened to the teenager's entourage, inquired about the altercation she had with her parents the weekend before her disappearance. “A dispute arose with her parents over the weekend relating in particular to Morgane's use of social networks. A heated discussion followed with her parents during which her father broke Morgane's cell phone. he and his daughter took his SIM card.” She stayed at the family home on Sunday, November 24, with her brothers and sisters.
