Since the disappearance of young Morgane last Monday, little information has filtered out. What happened to this 13-year-old girl who didn't show up to school Monday morning? Did she run away? Did she have a bad encounter? All leads remain open and the investigation continues.
His friends and girlfriends were all heard. According to one of her friends, Morgane indicated on social networks that she would not come to class on Monday. This is what Nicolas Heitz, the public prosecutor of Saint-Brieuc, indicates.
The young teenager had never run away in the past. During the hearings, the parents described good relations in the family, which is confirmed by Morgane's paternal grandparents.
The prosecutor recalls that a dispute arose between the young teenager and her parents during the weekend relating in particular to Morgane's use of social networks.
A heated discussion ensued with her parents during which her father broke his daughter's cell phone and took her SIM card.

During the day of Sunday, November 24, Morgane stayed at home with her young brother and sister. His father worked afternoons and evenings outside the home. The next day, Monday, November 25, Morgane left the house around 7:15 a.m. to take the bus and go to college. Her parents did not see her leave, busy getting ready, but according to the prosecutor, she said goodbye to them “as usual“According to them, she left without money or a bank card and did not have a business bag.
Morgane's parents were notified by the college of her absence around 9:30 a.m. Monday. Since then the investigation has continued.
A large number of human and technical resources are deployed by the gendarmerie soldiers.
Two police dogs were also used. The two dogs took the path home to the Castel Pic district in Guingamp where they lost the trail. Nautical means, divers, were also engaged to probe the Le Trieux river, from the spillway, located in the center of the town to the former Plouizy sewage treatment plant. They also surveyed the watercourses near the home, as well as a water point in the commune of Pabu.
A helicopter from the Rennes air section was deployed on several occasions. Searches on foot, by bicycle and in vehicle were carried out by the gendarmes. Hunts were also organized, notably today with the participation of 800 volunteers.
