The Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Philip Joseph Pierre, reaffirmed, this Thursday in Rabat, his country’s full support for Morocco’s sovereignty over its Sahara and expressed his great appreciation for the Vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI for cooperation South-South solidarity and active.

In a statement to the press after his talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad, Nasser Bourita, the Prime Minister of Saint Lucia reiterated his support for the Moroccan Autonomy Plan as the only credible, serious and realistic solution. for the definitive resolution of the regional dispute regarding the Moroccan Sahara.

On the other hand, he underlined the deep relations and friendship between Saint Lucia and Morocco, expressing the desire that these relations be further strengthened between the two countries, within the framework of South-South cooperation.

Joseph Pierre also welcomed the scholarships granted by Morocco to students from his country.

During their meeting, Bourita and Joseph Pierre addressed the strengthening of bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and Saint Lucia, as well as issues of common interest.
