Tensions continue between Cyril Hanouna and LFI deputies. This Friday morning, European MP Manon Aubry was the guest on the show Pascal Praud & You on Europe 1. The C News journalist asked his guest about the ARCOM decision and the fact of deleting the C8 channel.
Manon Aubry declared that she wanted to delete the Canal + Group channel for “rdemocratic houses”par “tolerance concerns” and affirms that C8 was convicted of acts of racism and xenophobia.
“We’re not going to let this go”
A statement which did not fail to make Cyril Hanouna reactlive on Europe 1, this Friday afternoon in his show We walk on our heads. The host of Don't touch my post then took the initiative of calling Manon Aubry live, on air. The latter did not respond, so he left her a voicemail.
“I remind you that Manon Aubry is playing to win a trip” launched Cyril Hanouna, with humor when the call was in progress. Once the big sound was started, the one who nicknamed himself Baba continued with the humor. “Yes, Manon Aubry, it was Cyril Hanouna, I called you to win you a gift. I was going to ask you what was your favorite TV channel? If you answered C8, you would go on a two-week trip with the person of your choice. You did not respond, unfortunately the gift goes immediately to Sébastien Delogu.”
Before continuing more seriously: “Manon Aubry, it was Cyril Hanouna, I wanted to tell you that I listened to you at Pascal Praud this morning, you say that C8 was condemned for racism and xenophobia, didn't you have the wrong channel? C8 is the channel I'm on, there is no racism, there is no xenophobia. You will have to watch the shows again a little and then you will certainly receive a letter from my lawyer, I think it will be Monday morning, for defamation. We're not going to let this go. You will see he is very nice.” he concluded.
“It’s not the sharpest knife in the drawer”, Cyril Hanouna tackles the LFI MP
Indeed, a few minutes earlier, still live on air, Cyril Hanouna affirmed that he was going to attack Manon Aubry for defamation following his comments. Comments which echo those of Rima Hassan against Isabelle Morini-Bosc, against which the host of the 8 had not failed to rebel.
“It's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, she'll talk nonsense. I am going to attack Manon Aubry, I am announcing it on Europe 1, for defamation and false information that she has just given. C8 has never been sanctioned for racism and never will be. At least in my shows, unless it's in Barnaby or in Animals for adoption. (…) When you don't know the files, shut up. When we don't know the files, she should say to Pascal Praud: 'listen, I don't know the file well but I don't like this channel', that's it, finished. But when she says stupid things like that…. Anything.” Cyril Hanouna then concluded by indicating that he would also announce it live on television this evening in TPMP.
