Prefectural Order No. 4,531,208 for the season.
In the midst of a sporting crisis, FC Nantes (16e of Ligue 1) will not be able to count on its supporters to fill the visitor's park at the Parc des Princes to try to get points against PSG, leader of the championship, on Saturday evening. The Ministry of the Interior and the Hauts-de-Seine prefecture have each published a long decree, both relayed on the website of the club coached by Antoine Kombouaré, to announce the travel ban on FC Nantes supporters, justifying it with numerous examples of excesses of the latter.
A direct consequence of the incidents last Sunday
This new decision is not surprising as prefectural decrees concerning travel bans on supporters in France continue to multiply every weekend. But in this particular case, it is all the less surprising with regard to Nantes supporters as it follows the incidents which occurred against Le Havre during the last day of Ligue 1 at La Beaujoire, which had pushed the minister to Interior, Bruno Retailleau, to study “very seriously” a procedure for dissolving the Loire Brigade, the Canaries ultra group.
Nantes players can rest assured, they will not be the only tourists at the Park.
