Incident at the National Assembly: debates under high tension
Incident at the National Assembly: debates under high tension
( 2)

In view of the debate on the repeal of the pension reform, an altercation occurred in the National Assembly, at a time when the political climate is tense.

Tempers are heating up within the hemicycle. Thursday, November 28, centrist MP Nicolas Turquois attacked two left-wing MPs, Mickaël Bouloux and Antoine Léaument. An attitude regretted by the latter. Fortunately Mr Fesneau [président du groupe MoDem] you were there to hold back the colleague from your group. But also, and I thank them, the bailiffs intervened to move him back. Otherwise, I'm not sure that at the end of the evening I won't have had a donuthe is indignant.

The tension is palpable within the National Assembly, in a context of political uncertainty. In addition, Michel Barnier's concession to Marine Le Pen on the electricity tax is not enough for the RN deputies who threaten to vote on the motion of censure. An ultimatum was given to the Prime Minister until Monday December 2, when the government could fall.
