Waldorf Astoria. This is the name of the hotel which now serves as the first tenant of the Mohammed VI Tower. O Tower and Hilton have formalized the signing of a management contract in this sense, indicates the magazine Challenge.

«Occupying the top 18 floors of the Mohammed VI Tower, from its 29th to 46th level, the hotel benefits from an exceptional panoramic view of the Bouregreg River, the twin cities of Rabat and Salé, as well as the Atlantic Ocean.», lit.

Founded in New York at the end of the 19th century, Waldorf Astoria opened its first establishment in 1893 in Manhattan. In Rabat, the establishment will have 55 keys, divided between 11 rooms and 44 suites, and will offer high-end services and amenities, including a wellness area, a ballroom, a business lounge and four restaurants. Its opening is planned for 2025.

Culminating at 250 meters in height, the Mohammed VI Tower is not only the highest point in the Bouregreg valley, but also a centerpiece of the Rabat City of Lights program, Moroccan capital of culture. “By welcoming one of the most emblematic brands in luxury hotels, the Mohammed VI Tower is not only an architectural symbol, but also becomes a testimony to Morocco’s ambition to combine tradition and modernity to shine on the world stage», lit-on encore.
