Les Vieilles Charrues have revealed the names of 22 artists who will be on the bill for their 2025 edition. Around fifty names will then complete the program of the festival, organized from July 17 to 20 in Carhaix. The date of this announcement is not yet known. “Our programming is still under construction, we don’t keep the public waiting for the sake of it,” specify the festival’s co-programmers, Jean-Jacques Toux and Jeanne Rucet. But if there are opportunities in the coming weeks, we will seize them. »

A balanced program

Between rock, electro, rap and French pop, this first wave of names reflects the DNA of Vieilles Charrues. The younger generation should find something to suit them, particularly thanks to popular rappers like Damso or Tiakola. A few days ago, the latter sold 40,000 seats in five minutes for his two concerts planned at the Accor Arena next March…

The festival also had a good catch with the presence of the legendary group the Sex Pistols, who will play on Sunday July 20. The “inventors” of punk reformed a few months ago with Frank Carter on vocals, and they will only have two or three dates in in 2025. The same goes for Alanis Morissette, who will only perform twice in France l next year, in Carhaix and .

Among the other headliners, we can cite Zaho de Sagazan, who will be back two years after his remarkable performance in 2023, and the American rapper Macklemore, who ignited Kerampuilh in 2017. Philippe Katerine should win the prize for the concert on more original, while the French electro duo Ofenbach will close the festival.
