Failure to return tax returns: this is the accusation against Francesco Totti. To the former Giallorossi captain, prosecutor Vincenzo Barba of the Rome prosecutor’s office contests the violation of article 5 of legislative decree 74/2000, i.e. tax or value added evasion. The punishment for this crime ranges from 2 to 5 years.

Second The Truth the Rome Prosecutor’s Office accuses him of failing to report part of the income deriving from the commercials. The former AS Roma captain is expected by Barba and his deputy Stefano Pesci in Piazzale Clodio after the Immaculate Conception to clarify his position.

While the complaint for child abandonment is moving towards dismissal, the tax investigation starts from Ilary Blasi’s accusations on the money squandered at the gaming table and on the foreign accounts of the former number 10. The Guardia di Finanza started from here and then found some advertising appearances for which Totti had not opened a specific VAT number.

In June there had already been a tax audit by the finance company for a total of 1.5 million euros. At the end of which Totti was accused of not having opened the VAT number for an activity that was not occasional. The former captain would have already paid for the hole.
