“We are there”, simply wrote Emmanuel Macron with these images showing the renovated exterior of the cathedral, with the song Notre-Dame de Paris by Edith Piaf in the background.

Five years, 7 months and 14 days. 2,055 days after the fire at Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral on April 15, 2019, the monument is about to reopen to the public. The President of the Republic is expected from 10 a.m. this Friday, November 29 on site for a final site visit.
The President of the Republic “will meet the craftsmen, journeymen, architects and engineers who have successfully met the challenge of reconstruction in five years”, specifies a press release from the Élysée Palace.
Emmanuel Macron will be accompanied by the First Lady, the Minister of Culture Rachida Dati and the Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo, the Archpriest of Notre-Dame and the Archbishop of the capital.
