Two games of drugbetween hashish and cocaine, which once on the market could have brought criminal organizations profits over 3.2 million euros. Two consignments of narcotic substances which were intercepted and blocked by the Financiers of the Provincial Command of Rome, with the military having arrested two peopletwo couriers. The same ones who will now have to answer for detention and drug trafficking.

The first load blocked in the ‘Salaria Est’ service area
It was the yellow flames of the 2nd Metropolitan Operations Unit of Rome, during patrolling of the territory, that stopped a car parked in the service area ‘Salaria Est’ on the Roma Nord branch. What was supposed to be just a check turned into an enormous discovery because the soldiers in that car, in a hidden false bottom created in the chassis, found 25 kilograms of hashishcontained in originals confections in the shape of ice cream cones and ice lolly.

The other stopped in the ‘Mascherone Ovest’ service area
The other drug load, in the second operation, was intercepted in the service area Mascherone Ovest on the Milan-Rome motorway. Here the soldiers stopped and inspected an articulated lorry with a Romanian license plate and inside, still in the double floors of the trailer, they found 30 blocks of cocaineweighing over 30 kilograms.
Both couriers were arrested and their flagrant arrest was validated by the Judicial Authorities of Rome and Tivoli, which have territorial jurisdiction due to the location of the seizure. Those carried out by the Fiamme Gialle are just two of the many interventions to combat illicit trafficking.
