In the latest episode of “Rosin’s Restaurants,” Frank Rosin has had enough of the brazen behavior of a restaurateur. The attempted rescue of his restaurant “Star Blue Kitchen” escalates.
A bang at “Rosins Restaurants”! In the latest episode of the Kabel-Eins show, Frank Rosin reaches his limits. When Mohammad tries to save the restaurant from the abyss, his behavior is so offensive that the TV star has to make a difficult decision. A violent argument breaks out.
Frank Rosin received the order to save the restaurant from Mohammad’s wife Claudia. Her husband not only runs the “Star Blue Kitchen” in Weiden in the Upper Palatinate, but also a second business, “Primavera” – and both are doing poorly. When she talks about the current situation, Claudia tears up.
“He doesn’t have the income, there’s no staff, he’s heavily in debt,” says Claudia, describing the precarious situation surrounding her husband Mohammad. Although the “Primavera” had not yet been a success, he had signed the contract for the “Star Blue Kitchen” – without his wife’s knowledge. “It was really a huge shock for me,” she admits in an interview with Frank Rosin. In her opinion, becoming a professional chef is the “last chance, because otherwise I really don’t see any country left.” “Not even in terms of relationships,” Claudia makes clear: “I suffer a lot from it too.”
Frank Rosin laughs at attempts at flirting
Claudia and Mohammad have a 13-year-old son. It will be integrated into the shops at some point – that’s another reason why Mohammad wants to build two shops. As Claudia describes, there is currently no family life at all. Her husband works in the “Star Blue Kitchen” from early in the morning until the afternoon, then he goes straight to “Primavera”, and when the 49-year-old lies in bed at night, Mohammad is in the living room “crying and crying and crying”.

When Frank Rosin pays the ambitious restaurant owner a visit to the “Star Blue Kitchen”, there is no sign of sadness. Mohammad welcomes him in a good mood. “Nice shop,” says the TV star. “Beautiful eyes,” the restaurateur apparently wants to return a compliment.
Frank Rosin invited the construction workers in front of the restaurant and other locals from the area for an initial test meal. However, the expert quickly notes: “A culinary line was not really recognizable in this ‘Star Blue Kitchen’.”
Frank Rosin speaks plainly: “It definitely won’t go on like this”
“Not enjoyable for me. “As a passionate griller who makes a lot of meat myself, I wouldn’t come for this food anymore,” says a disappointed construction worker. And another even brings Frank Rosin over to show him the meat being served. “Wow, that’s raw. “It’s not possible,” the TV chef also states, and then speaks plainly to Mohammad: “It definitely can’t go on like this.”
In the afternoon Mohammad closes the shop and moves on to “Primavera”. Here the restaurateur seems to offer pretty much the same food, albeit without the confusing self-service concept. Although the restaurant has existed since 2016, hardly any customers come here. Frank Rosin finds it completely incomprehensible that Mohammad then opened a second shop: “Two shops doesn’t mean double profit. That means double work, but not double profit.”
And it is precisely this work that seems to be overwhelming for Mohammad. The guests have to wait forever for their food – and then two of them get the starter, while the other two get the main course. But instead of admitting his mistakes, the chef keeps justifying himself.
Frank Rosin: “Sometimes I could slap you like that”
After much consideration, Frank Rosin returns with a clear plan. Mohammad is said to be focusing on oriental cuisine – but with just one shop, the “Star Blue Kitchen”, under a new name. The concept should focus on to-go dishes, because the culinary expert sees enormous potential here. Together with Mohammad, he prepares some oriental wraps and bowls as a demonstration. “It tastes world-class,” he is completely convinced. And Mohammad?
He doesn’t seem really satisfied yet, keeps wandering off with confusing comparisons and has thousands of ideas in his head. “I’ve never experienced that before. Frank Rosin seems stunned that someone could annoy me like that. “Sometimes I could slap you like that. Because you talk and you don’t think,” he reproaches Mohammad.
In order for the to-go concept to work at all, the TV team first has to revamp the restaurant. Mohammad does not agree with the renovation plans at all and repeatedly questions the skills of the experts. “I’ve never experienced anything like that before,” says one of the crew, shocked.
In the end, Frank Rosin is enthusiastic about the new, oriental look of the store. The team is also happy with the result after all the hard work. But Mohammad inspects everything very carefully and still finds things to complain about. “That’s just disrespectful,” says Frank Rosin angrily.
Restaurateur freaks out in front of Frank Rosin and TV cameras
While the TV chef is away, Mohammad continues to get upset – this time about the supposed lack of quality of the new appliances. “This is the best equipment I have ever seen for a snack bar. And now to say that I just expect more and am disappointed because of it and all that, I think is outrageous,” said Frank Rosin.
As the recordings shown show, Mohammad is also dissatisfied with the input from Frank Rosin himself and complains about his work. He’s now completely at a loss for words: “I’m a bit speechless because I don’t know what to do now.”
“I’m really sorry because I think Claudia will be frightened. “I’m going there now and we’re packing our bags and then it’s over for us here and now,” announces Frank Rosin emotionally. In the store, Mohammad throws a tantrum before the professional restaurateur can even explain his decision. He accuses the TV team of having secured everything for the broadcast of the show and then pulling out.
“You’re just an impudent person,” Frank Rosin shoots back, but doesn’t get to say anything else. “What has been done here? “I’m not going to let myself be ashes,” says Mohammad, who sees all the new equipment as inferior and the investments made as far too small: “Everything is under 5,000 euros to make a television format. Winning a few spectators with 5,000 euros and leaving a restaurateur behind is not possible.”
Frank Rosin cancels restaurant rescue
When Mohammad’s outburst seems to have no end, Frank Rosin has had enough and pulls away. “I don’t hold that against him. Because I think that was his expression of helplessness, nothing more and nothing less. We really work here for days because we enjoy it. But then being exposed to something like that makes me emotional too. “I’m just really, really sorry about that,” says the TV star, distraught, in front of the restaurant.
