No wonder, it's the start of Black Friday, the 2024 edition of which officially begins on Friday November 29, 2024 and ends on Monday December 2, 2024, Cyber Monday day. Four weeks before Christmas, it's the perfect time to stock up on great deals on a range of products ranging from electronics to fashion, including household appliances and items for the home.
Proof that this meeting is a must for consumers? 80% of French people plan to make purchases during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, an increase of 9 points compared to 2023, for an average budget of 233 euros (however down 10% compared to 2023), according to a study conducted by PwC from September 25 to October 22, 2024.
Discounts of 600 to 800 euros on televisions
Capital carried out its little investigation to reveal to you which, among the largest national specialized distributors which are Boulanger, Darty and Fnac (the last two brands belonging to the same group) to favor for your shopping at a lower price. For this edition of Black Friday, Darty has decided to put the cursor on televisions. “We are going to offer promotions of up to -40%, i.e. discounts of 600 to 800 euros», confides the brand to us. Among the most promoted brands: LG and Samsung products. Besides, on 65-inch OLED televisions, the prize for discounts goes to Darty which offers promotional levels of up to -43% on the Samsung brand. Fnac is following suit with a 35% promotion until Sunday December 1st while Boulanger will not go beyond 23%.

On high-tech accessories, Fnac is where you should benefit from the best discounts. Beats headphones are promoted up to 50% while the price AirPods are priced at less than 100 euros. On telephony, it is the Apple brand which is in the spotlight and more precisely the iPhone 14+ with discounts of 15 to 22% depending on the storage capacities of the device. At Boulanger, who did not wish to answer our questions, do not expect to do business on Apple products. The brand only offers timid promotions on these items: -8% on the iPhone 13 at 569 euros, and -22% on the AirPods Pro 2 at 219 euros.
Hunting for deals on Airfryers
Other departments to have fun: that of household appliances and in particular the Airfryer, these oil-free fryers, which are a hit at the moment. Darty offers discounts of up to 50% on the Moulinex, Ninja and Philips brands. But if you want to equip yourself with the famous Airfryer Ninja Multifunction, you will get a better deal by going to Boulanger or Darty (79.99 euros each) rather than to Fnac, whose product is sold for 96.99 euros. The bargain hunt is on!
