Samsung's next flagship, the Galaxy S25, is shaping up to be a powerful smartphonethanks in particular to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This information, revealed by recently leaked benchmarks, suggests impressive performance for this new range.

A significant lead over competitors

These scores far surpass those of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the A18 Pro chipset and even Apple's iPhone 16 Pro Max. The Galaxy S25 Plus is thus positioned in real competitor of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, even surpassing it in single-core test.

It should be noted, however, that these results are only based on a single leak. However, benchmarks of the OnePlus 13, running with the latest Qualcomm chipset, confirm this increase in power for the next generation of Android phones. We therefore look forward to learning more about these significant improvements.

An imminent announcement

We expect Samsung to announce the Galaxy S25 lineup in January, probably around the 23rd. Usually, Samsung leaves about two weeks between the announcement and the official release. Either way, we can't wait to test the Galaxy S25 Plus to see how it compares to the latest iPhones.

In the meantime, Samsung appears to be working on a foldable portable gaming console, as a new patent suggests. Additionally, recently leaked photos revealed the design and user interface of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Finally, we also got wind of the Galaxy S25 Slim. So many reasons to impatiently await Samsung's next announcements.
