StormTeam 5 meteorologist Kelly Ann Cicalese said most of Massachusetts can expect between 0.5 and 1 inch of total rainfall from this storm. “We’ll have to watch for those spots that drop below freezing moving northwest of Boston. There is a chance for a few slick spots (Thursday) morning before the storm really starts to intensify,” she said. Snow will mainly be confined to the Berkshires, and higher elevations of northern New England could see significant snowfall. The snow will be good news for Ski Country, where the tallest mountains could see up to 12 inches in time for the holiday weekend. “The (storm) slowly starts to wind down by 6 p.m. Thursday. Temperatures at night will bottom out close to freezing. There will be some slick spots Friday morning for those of you heading out for Black Friday deals,” StormTeam 5 meteorologist A.J.
