Manuel Bompard, coordinator of France Insoumise, was the guest on Franceinfo's 11 a.m./1 p.m. show, Thursday November 28. The MP talks about the repeal of the pension reform.
Present at the National Assembly to discuss the repeal of the pension reform, Manuel Bompard regrets blocking maneuvers by the government. “We passed eight amendments. Since this morning, we have witnessed crude maneuvers, obstruction, blocking and sabotage in which Macronist deputies and members of the government have engaged. Since this morning, we have only been debating the title, that is to say that the proposed amendments have no legislative impact. There is difficulty in getting to the end of the text“, he says.
For the coordinator of France Insoumise, the Macronists “simply want to prevent the National Assembly from voting and correcting a democratic mistreatment which was the forceful passage by 49.3 of this reform. They want to prevent the majority of deputies in the National Assembly who are for the repeal of the pension reform from being able to do so this evening.“
