“In a single year, I have been the victim of more attacks than in 26 years, this world is going crazy,” testified this Wednesday on CNEWS Mohamed Oulmekki, doctor in Drancy (Seine-Saint-Denis), violently attacked by one of his patients at his office.
His face is completely swollen. A general practitioner from Drancy (Seine-Saint-Denis) recounted this Wednesday the attack he was subjected to in his office by one of his patients.
“In a single year, I was the victim of more attacks than in 26 years, this world is going crazy,” said Doctor Mohamed Oulmekki.
The health professional explained that the son of a patient had presented himself this Monday, November 25, claiming a consultation. The latter would then have taken the doctor to task by accusing him of having defrauded his mother against a backdrop of imbroglio concerning reimbursement of care via Social Security.
The suspect taken into custody
The man finally returned an hour after the meeting, before hitting him violently with his head in the face. “He’s not a drug addict, he’s a 22-year-old who I’ve been treating since he was 6 years old. Honestly, I didn't distrust him, and I told him “if there's a problem we'll sort it out, I'll look in my accounts. I even wrote a check without checking so that his mother wouldn't find herself not in difficulty, but despite all that, he broke my face,” lamented the general practitioner.
Doctor Mohamed Oulmekki announced that he was going to file a complaint following this attack. Contacted about the opening of an investigation, the Bobigny prosecutor's office informed CNEWS that the suspect had been arrested and placed in police custody. The latter was also extended this morning, according to this judicial source.
