VfB is aiming for its fourth win of the season against VfL Bochum this Saturday (3:30 p.m.). You can find out here who coach Sebastian Hoeneß will play against the bottom team.

Although VfB is on the ropes in terms of personnel due to the many injuries, for the home game against VfL Bochum this Saturday (3:30 p.m./live ticker) they will still have a team on the pitch that is the clear favorite against the so far winless bottom team. The fourth win of the season should therefore come for coach Sebastian Hoeneß's team, which currently wants to climb up to eleventh place in the table.

And this also without the injured or sick players Deniz Undav, El Bilal Touré, Anrie Chase, Ameen Al-Dakhil, Jamie Leweling, Dan-Axel Zagadou and Luca Raimund, who are also joined by an ailing Angelo Stiller.

“The team showed against Leverkusen that they are alive again. Dieter Hecking achieved that,” says VfB head coach Sebastian Hoeneß about the Bochum team. “It's a different VfL than it was a few weeks ago.” Nevertheless, at VfB they want to focus on their own performance. “I’m hoping for the same energy as the last home game, but with fewer goals conceded,” says Hoeneß, referring to the 2-3 win against Frankfurt.
