After the numerous revelations about the fifty-year-old's addictions – alcohol, narcotics, “chemsex” – Muriel Robin declared last year that she could no longer consider him as her friend.

She clarified her comments this Friday. “It’s not because Pierre Palmade caused an accident that I ended our friendship (…) because you don’t let go of a friend,” she first wanted to clarify, recalling that their relationship dates back more than 30 years.

As she explained, she had several times indirectly addressed the comedian in interviews, assuring him that he could “do” what he wanted, she would “always be there” and would love him “ always “. “I wanted to give him this somewhat absolute love,” she deciphered.

But “in the context of the accident, I heard and saw things unacceptable to me,” continued Muriel Robin, without detailing what it was precisely. “And that justifies my position today (…) I am not a quitter. If I give up, it’s because I have reasons to give up,” the actress further criticized.
