Belgian singer Stromae releases “Ma Meilleure Enneme”, a duet with Pomme, for the soundtrack of the French animated series “Arcane”, on Netflix.
We feared we wouldn't hear his recognizable phrasing again any time soon. Until this Saturday, November 23, at 9 a.m.: Stromae has released a new song, called My best enemyin duet with the singer Pomme.
This long-awaited return is actually a song for the soundtrack of the successful French animated series Arcanethe last episodes of season 2 of which have just been released on the Netflix platform.
“We concocted a special song for the final season of Arcane,” wrote the artist on Instagram in the caption of an image of him and Pomme in League of Legends version, the ultra-popular video game that inspired the animated series .
Before them, the Frenchman Woodkid had also put his music at the service of French production with a song called To Ashes and Bloodunveiled at the beginning of November.
The return of Stromae
Regarding My best enemythis is the first song unveiled by Stromae in two and a half years. The Belgian singer interrupted his last tour, Multitude Tourin March 2023 for health reasons. A recording of this concert is also expected on YouTube on December 14, after a television broadcast on TMC on December 6.
