pre opening of Val tho lets go! and no, it was canceled… but a few stubborn people still came to test the waters this Friday. Verdict?
-snow present on the road this morning, with promising gaps of blue sky… which will disappear as soon as we step on the snow. This afternoon the road was almost completely cleared of snow, but snow tires were essential to drive around the resort.
-arrived at P4, -8 degrees. we see a white strip, a little whiter than elsewhere along Boismint, we give it a try. -12 at the top, we didn't really sweat. for the snowreport: the wind persecuted the snow cover yesterday… Monday I was dreaming of a 60 cm +60cm between Tuesday and Thursday.. Today we are rather on a 25 cm in the areas where the snow cannons ensured the first undercoat; and on a 5 or even 10 cm on the ridges…sometimes you feel 60cm under the skate, but it's isolated. really disappointing. Nevertheless,
-three stubborn riders were also out with smiles on their faces at these well-deserved first exit turns. Skiing is cool, that hasn't changed.
-thank you skipass for the well-recovered season pass, which I will have to honor assiduously, poor me.. kisses to all skipasseurs, have a good season!
