82-year-old from Bay City wins $250,000 Keno prize | Lottery

The lucky winner plans to buy a new car with her winnings.

BAY CITY, Mich. (WJRT) – An 82-year-old woman from Bay City has a new car in her future thanks to a $250,000 prize she won from the Michigan Lottery’s daily Keno drawing.

The lucky winner, who wanted to remain anonymous, correctly picked 10 numbers from 1 to 80 in the Nov. 10 drawing. She purchased her winning ticket at the Cass Avenue Party Store at the corner of Cass and Michigan avenues in Bay City.

“I have special sets of numbers for all the draw games that I play, including Keno,” said the player.

The 82-year-old couldn’t believe her eyes when she realized her numbers matched those picked on Nov. 10 — 03-05-10-11-12-21-25-41-42-61.

“I had my daughter come over and look at my ticket to make sure I was reading it right,” the lucky winner said. “Winning is an amazing feeling and is going to provide a sense of financial security.”

She plans to buy a new car with her prize and save the remainder.

Keno tickets cost $1 apiece and winners who correctly pick all 10 numbers win the $250,000 jackpot. Drawings take place at 7:30 p.m. seven days per week.
