The time has come for a new photo shoot for the thirty candidates for the Miss France 2025 election with the traditional swimsuit session. Two photos, from afar then up close, which in addition to the official portraits, will accompany the beauty queens until the evening of the election, December 14. Since last Sunday, the young women have been on an integration stay in Ivory Coast. The opportunity for them to prepare for D-day and prove themselves to the jury.
Since their arrival in Abidjan, they have engaged in several activities, in addition to the dreaded general knowledge test which will be taken into account in the selection of the fifteen candidates by the Miss France committee. If the swimsuit stage is more difficult for some than for others, less comfortable with revealing their body in front of the lens, everyone took part in the game over the last two days. And it was in a dream setting that the Misses posed: the splendid gardens of the Sofitel hotel in Abidjan, where the Miss France delegation is staying for the trip. Sun, greenery, flashy colors and flowers in their hair, the young women had fun blending into this idyllic setting imbued with Ivorian culture.

Swimsuits chosen by the Misses themselves
Big change this year in terms of fashion: the Misses were able to decide on the choice of their swimsuit! A great first for the Miss France 2025 competition, which usually relies on the talent of Aurore Donguy, stylist of the candidates for years. An ideal way to discover them more, but also to honor the environmental concerns of the committee, among other things, traveling lighter. A request that comes directly from the president of the Miss France Society, Frédéric Gilbert: for the sake of ecology, he asked to reduce the volume of the boxes that accompany the candidates. A job that required the Misses to organize themselves, but which seems to pay off in the results, as Romane Agostinho (Miss Auvergne) tells us: “We know what suits us and what we like to wear, so that gives us added value. and that gives us confidence.”
A feeling shared by Jade Fansonna (Miss Guyana), who finds the balance between imposed looks and ideal freedom: “There are days when we are all dressed the same way and others when we can allow us to reveal our clothing style, and it's perfect like that. » For Julie Dupont (Miss Île-de-France), choosing your outfit is also an opportunity to share your values: “I am against fast fashion. 75% of my suitcase is second-hand goods, this allows me to show that we can dress well and respect the planet […]. You obviously have to have a little means to put money into outfits, but it's something to prepare for, I've saved quite a bit. »
