This Monday, railway workers will meet in a General Assembly in to debate their demands and decide on the follow-up to be given to the social movement against the SNCF 2025 transport plan.

The demands of the railway workers

The railway workers denounce the SNCF TER management and its management of the 2025 transport plan which provides for a 24% increase in rail service with only 11% additional staff. “The company is asking to make more trains with fewer human resources,” denounces Nicolas Sarrat. An increase which according to them will have direct consequences on safety: “There is an issue with railway safety since the concentration of drivers will be reduced by their daily workload”, he specifies.
