According to information from Europe 1, a municipal councilor from the town hall of Tours was arrested and placed in police custody on Thursday November 21 as part of an investigation into drug trafficking. The suspect is Christopher Sebaoun. Member of the EELV municipal majority, he is delegated to questions relating to the Loire and the Cher, to the preservation of river heritage and aquifer resources.
Searches were also carried out at his home. For the moment, their results are not known. The placement in police custody of the elected official was “ confirmed to the mayor of Tours », the ecologist Emmanuel Denis, by the public prosecutor. Contacted by AFP, the magistrate clarified that no further communication was currently planned on this matter.
