After the passage of the Caetano storm, it is now time to deal with the damage in Auvergne. This Friday, November 22, more than 11,000 homes find themselves without electricity in Auvergne. The Puy-de-Dôme department is the most affected, with 7,500 homes without electricity. In Allier, 2,200 households are affected, 800 in Cantal and 600 in Haute-Loire.
Teams from Enedis, the electricity network manager, are mobilized to repair the damage. 150 agents are working to restore electricity as quickly as possible. They must repair power lines damaged by strong winds and fallen trees.
This morning, Friday November 22, a diagnostic phase was launched to assess the extent of the damage. This will make it possible to define priorities for repairs and plan interventions. In the meantime, residents are urged to remain cautious, including avoiding downed power lines and remaining vigilant in the face of bad weather.
