The German-Italian never lost his passion for field hockey. Not even after moving to Hamburg. Jan Hofer, former chief spokesman for the Tagesschau, had already made it public in 2020 that the fee for the 8 p.m. program was around 260 euros. Payment is based on time spent, so that speakers can achieve a monthly salary of between 8,000 and 10,000 euros if they make several appearances per day.
