Moroccan international Sofiane Rahimi contributed to his Al Ain football team sweeping its counterpart Al Orouba by four goals to two, today in the eighth round of the ADNOC UAE Professional League, on the floor of Dibba Al Fujairah Stadium.
The “Lions” striker excelled in the match by scoring a goal and providing an assist in Al Ain’s third goal.
Sufyan Rahimi opened the score for Al Ain in the 13th minute with a wonderful header. Laba Kodjou doubled the lead with a second goal in the 29th minute.
Mohamed Awadallah added the third goal in the 44th minute via a decisive pass from Sufyan Rahimi.
In the second half, Al Ain continued the attack, and Laba Kodjo added his second goal and Al Ain’s fourth goal in the 61st minute.
Al Orouba succeeded in scoring two goals through Mohamed Reda and Gabriel Kak in the 73rd and 78th minutes, and a goal was also canceled due to a foul on behalf of Al Ain defender Kwame.
Today’s goal is Sufyan Rahimi’s fourth in the UAE League for Al Ain this season.
It is worth noting that Al Ain raised its score to 11 points, temporarily placing it in sixth place.
