Clara Luciani: “This record is so much me, that I would have taken every negative review personally”

It's the great return of Clara Luciani ! While she made us dance to disco rhythms for CoeurClara returns with a more than personal album where she returns with more melancholy and refined sounds: My blood.

An album on transmission and family recorded in full during her pregnancy. So, a highly personal album for the French singer-songwriter: “I didn't know at all how it was going to be perceived by people. And then there's something else, which is that this record is so me, that I would have taken every negative review really personally. I can't put a distance between this record and me. This record is me. As much as the others already had a lot of myself, it was still just songs. There, it tells so much of my story, it's so intimate, that I really feared that it wouldn't be accepted“.

As always with the artist, the writing is precise, poetic. The opportunity for Emilie Mazoyer to ask Clara Luciani about her writing methods: “I have two things that I do all the time. Already, I write texts very quickly. There has never been a text that was written in more than two hours. And I never allow myself to write something that I wouldn't say orally. If that doesn't sound like my way of expressing myself, if it's not something I could say to this microphone for example, well I won't write it. It's super important for me, especially in my poetic interpretation, to have a language that is poetic but also everyday”

Son album, his tour of the zeniths to come with his two Olympiahis Christmas film Pretty, pretty : Clara Luciani is Emilie Mazoyer's guest in Decibels.
