The interview took a delicate turn when Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine mentioned accusations targeting Slimane, her collaborator and friend. “Two technicians on his tour accuse him of harassment and sexual assault. Visibly uncomfortable, the singer reacted by expressing her annoyance at this type of recurring questions.

She rejects Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine

She recalled that she had often been asked to respond to subjects concerning Diam's or Stromae in the past, and that she refused to position herself as a spokesperson for others. “I’m not here to speak for him,” she said firmly, putting an end to the discussion on this specific point. The singer tried to refocus the exchange on her current affairs. “If you wonder about my relationship with Slimane, watch the documentary,” she suggested to Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine. She assured that the film addresses this connection with depth: “Everything is said. That's it, I can't tell you more. » Despite the palpable embarrassment, Vitaa maintained its objective of putting forward its project, while firmly recalling that it did not wish to comment on the accusations against Slimane.
