Jon Jones has shown little to no enthusiasm for a fight with Tom Aspinall, with one heavyweight commending him for the way he’s playing the game.
The MMA community is currently joined in unison in the hope that a match-up between the undisputed and interim champions comes to fruition.

At UFC 309, on Saturday night, Jon Jones defeated Stipe Miocic at Madison Square Garden, New York, USA, with a brutal spinning back kick.
But while ‘Bones’ performed well, at 42 years old, his Croatian-American opponent was far removed from his magnificent prime.
Unfortunately, most fans surmised this may have been the case, which is why they wanted Tom Aspinall to face Jones instead.
But even with this fight out of the way, the reigning King of the division is showing little enthusiasm for the major match-up.

Consequently, the fans have been rendered fuming. However, Brendan Schaub is on the side of the 37-year-old, telling those complaining to ‘shut up’.
In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, the former contender said: “I can almost guarantee you, we’ll never see another Jon Jones again—dominating like this. He has a leg up on the UFC.
“You should be celebrating this; you should be supporting this. If I’ve ever seen a resume for a fighter to demand a certain amount of pay and actually get it, it’s Jon Jones.
“So, pick a lane. Either you want fighters to get compensated what they’re worth, or you just want them to fight whoever the f**k they (The UFC) tell them to fight.
“You finally have a guy who has a leg up on the UFC and can do that. He doesn’t need anyone or anything to be considered the greatest of all time, and all he’s asking is, ‘Pay me like I’m the greatest of all time’.
“People are like, ‘You’re ducking him, just get in there with him it’s the right thing to do’, shut up!
“If you’re going to cry over fighters not getting compensated and not getting taken care of, and then when a guy finally does, you s**t on him, well, that doesn’t make sense, does it?
“That’s f**ing stupid in the grand scheme of things, isn’t it? It’s kind of ridiculous when you say it out loud, isn’t it? It makes no f***ing sense, y’all.”

While Schaub is firmly in Jones’ corner, not everyone feels the same way about the situation.
Many are still infuriated by the legend’s attitude towards the Aspinall clash, including a former world title challenger.
