To achieve this, he has spent an average of two million dollars per year since 2021, as part of a project called Blueprint for which he submits to drastic discipline: getting up at 5 a.m., daily sports exercises, juice with creatine and collagen peptides, diet composed solely of vegetables, nuts and berries, dozens of food supplements morning, noon and evening, hyaluronic acid, acid peels… And more. But he is not immune to a bad surprise, as La Dépêche reports: following an injection of fat into his face, an allergic reaction disfigured him and made him temporarily blind.

“My face started to explode”

Bryan Johnson himself posted photos on his Instagram account where we see his eyelids swollen, his features reddened and distorted by edema. Lacking the fat resources in his own body needed to plump up his emaciated face, the millionaire who lives in New Zealand turned to a donor. “Immediately after the injections, my face started to explode,” he said. It got worse and worse, until I couldn't see anymore. It was a serious allergic reaction. »

Regardless, he will continue to push the boundaries of science, illustrating the challenges and risks of the quest for biological immortality. Because all his efforts have already borne fruit: he claims to have the heart of a 37-year-old man, the skin of a thirty-year-old, the lungs of a young adult and even the gums of a 17-year-old teenager.
