PANN GOT SOME CLOUD COVER HANGING AROUND TODAY, BUT OVERALL, IT’S NOT A BAD DAY. THE TEMPERATURES ARE IN THE UPPER 50S TO AROUND 60. 57 AT FORT MEADE. IT’S 58 IN TIMONIUM AND 55 IN MIDDLE RIVER. THE TEMPERATURES WILL TOP OUT JUST A FEW DEGREES BEYOND THAT, PERHAPS IN THE LOW 60S. LATER ON THIS AFTERNOON. IT IS DRY AROUND BALTIMORE, BUT WE’VE GOT SOME RAIN SHOWERS IN THE MOUNTAINS AND THESE SHOWERS COULD REACH US BY THIS EVENING. SO IF YOU HAVE PLANS THIS AFTERNOON, I DON’T THINK YOU HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ANY RAIN. ONCE YOU GET PAST ABOUT FIVE 6:00 IN THE EVENING, THERE’S A CHANCE FOR SOME SHOWERS. IT’S ALL PART OF A BIG STORM SYSTEM THAT’S GOING TO CHANGE THE WEATHER HERE ON THE EAST COAST. IT’S GOING TO TURN WINDY AND COLD, AS I MENTIONED AT THE TOP OF THE SHOW, BY THE END OF THE WEEK, IT WILL FEEL LIKE WINTER. AND THERE’S EVEN A CHANCE FOR SOME SNOW SHOWERS. BUT LET’S TAKE A LOOK AT OUR FUTURECAST, SEE WHAT’S GOING TO HAPPEN IN THE SHORT TERM. WE’LL TAKE IT INTO THIS EVENING. THIS IS 8 P.M. YOU CAN SEE THIS COMPUTER MODEL HAS A COUPLE LITTLE HIT AND MISS SHOWERS AROUND AT THAT TIME. DON’T LOOK FOR A STEADY RAIN OVERNIGHT TONIGHT, BUT ANY RAIN IS GOOD BECAUSE IT’S BEEN SO DRY. THE BEST CHANCE FOR HEAVY RAIN WILL BE WEDNESDAY NIGHT, BUT DURING THE DAY ON WEDNESDAY, I DON’T THINK THERE WILL BE A WHOLE LOT OF PRECIPITATION. JUST A SMALL CHANCE FOR SHOWERS ON WEDNESDAY MORNING. IT WILL BE BREEZY AND MILD. THE HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL MAKE IT BACK INTO THE 60S, AND ABOUT A 30 OR 40% CHANCE FOR A RAIN SHOWER DURING THE DAY. BUT A REALLY STRONG COLD FRONT IS GOING TO COME THROUGH ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT, WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF SOME HEAVY RAIN AND EVEN THUNDER AND LIGHTNING. THIS IS OUR FUTURECAST FOR 1130 IN THE EVENING. SEE THAT LINE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS COMING THROUGH THE I-95 CORRIDOR? IT WILL BE A BRIEF PERIOD OF HEAVY RAIN, BUT WE COULD GET A GOOD SOAKING WHILE AT THE SAME TIME IT COULD BE SNOWING OUT IN WESTERN MARYLAND. THERE’S GOING TO BE A BIG SWING IN THE TEMPERATURES HERE OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. VARIABLE CLOUDS THIS AFTERNOON. EVENING SHOWERS, POSSIBLE HIGH TEMPERATURES, UPPER 50S AND LOW 60S TONIGHT. MOSTLY CLOUDY. A FEW HIT AND MISS SHOWERS ARE POSSIBLE. AGAIN, NOT A STEADY RAIN. TEMPERATURES WILL DROP BACK INTO THE UPPER 40S AND LOW 50S. SUNSET IS AT 449. SEVEN DAY FORECAST DURING THE DAY ON WEDNESDAY. JUST A FEW SHOWERS, BUT A GOOD CHANCE FOR RAIN ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT AS THAT STRONG COLD FRONT GOES THROUGH. THEN HIGH TEMPERATURES ARE GOING TO BE IN THE 40S THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. THE WINDS WILL BE GUSTING BETWEEN 30 AND 40MPH, SO IT WILL FEEL EVEN COLDER. AND THERE IS A CHANCE FOR A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW SHOWERS ON BOTH DAYS. I THINK THERE’S A BETTER CHANCE FOR SNOW SHOWERS ON FRIDAY, ESPECIALLY IN THE MORNING. IT’S PROBABLY NOT GOING TO STICK, BUT A LOT OF YOU WILL SEE SNOW FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS SEASON.
