The Alpines of Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon will be pink this weekend in Las Vegas, but also during the last two Grands Prix of the season in Qatar and Abu Dhabi.
Alpine will see life in pink. As Formula 1 returns this weekend, after a three-week break, Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon will be behind the wheel of entirely pink cars at the Las Vegas Grand Prix (United States). And this color will be kept for the last two races of the season in Qatar and Abu Dhabi.
This special “Alpink” livery is none other than a collaboration with the Austrian brand specializing in water treatment BWT, which is the title sponsor of the Enstone-based team.
And this is not the first time this season that Alpine has distinguished itself with restyled cars. The single-seaters of two French drivers sported a theme inspired by the film Deadpool at Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium), then the video game Indiana Jones at the United States Grand Prix (Austin).
It remains to be seen whether this color will bring good luck to Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly and allow them to repeat their feat achieved in Brazil, where they respectively took the 2nd and 3rd step of the podium behind Max Verstappen, offering Alpine its best result in a more than gloomy season.
